World’s Best Gluten-Free Cheese Bites Recipe

These gluten-free cheese bites are super easy to make, tasty and versatile. I have used them as an appetiser on their own or with dips. Pop them in a lunch box or as a late-night snack

1 Mixing Bowl
1 Baking tray
1 Measuring Jug
1 Cheese grater
1 Round Pastry Cutter
225 g Plain Gluten-Free Flour 50 g Butter 60 g Grated Cheddar Cheese Pinch Salt 1 tsp Italian herbs or chilli flakes 1 Beaten Egg 1/4 Pint Milk
Rub the butter into the flour (like breadcrumbs).
Add the grated cheese, Italian herbs or chilli and a pinch of salt
Mix in the beaten egg followed by the milk.
Bring the mixture together with your hands. Add more flour if it is too sticky.
Make the mixture into a ball then gently flatten until the dough is about 3cm thick.
Cut out your bites with the pastry cutter and put onto the baking tray.
Bake in the oven at Gas 6 (200℃) for 15 minutes. Leave to cool.
