Gluten-Free Cheese Scones Recipe

Cheese scones were a favorite of mine when I was a child, my mum regularly baked these for the family.

Cheese grater
- 225 g Gluten-free self-raising flour
- 30 g Unsalted butter
- 1 Large Egg
- 100 g Mature cheddar cheese grated
- Pinch of salt
- 150 ml Pint of milk
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
- 1 tsp Gluten-free baking powder
Rub the butter into the flour until like breadcrumbs.
Add a pinch of salt.
Mix in milk and beaten egg.
Bring ingredients together and mix well.
Turn out onto a well-floured surface.
Roll the dough to a depth of about 1 centimetre and cut out using round dough cutters.
Brush top with egg and cook in oven gas 6 or 200c for 12-15 minutes.
Leave to cool and enjoy!
