These gluten free fruit buns are one of my dad's favorites. So easy to make, they are similar to a scone.

- 225 g Gluten free self-raising flour
- A pinch of salt
- 100 g Butter
- 85 g Mixed dried fruit
- 1 tbsp Mixed peel
- 55 g Castor sugar
- 1 Medium egg
- A little milk to mix
Preheat oven to 200c (gas 6).
Grease the baking tray.
Rub the butter into flour to make bread crumbs.
Add salt.
Add fruit, mix peel, and sugar.
Beat eggs with milk and add to the dry flour mix.
Make it into a stiff dough.
Take a dessert spoon-sized heap, put it onto the baking tray and flatten slightly.
Bake this for twenty minutes and leave to cool before enjoying.
