Instructions
First, let’s make our batter. In a bowl, mix the gluten-free flour, beaten eggs, water, and milk. Whisk until the batter is smooth and lump-free. This is the key to perfect crêpes!
Now, prepare your fillings. Gather all your chosen toppings and have them ready to go. This makes the cooking process much smoother.
Time to cook! Lightly oil your frying pan and heat it up. Once it’s hot, ladle some batter into the pan, swirling it around to cover the bottom.
Cook your crêpe for about 1.5-2 minutes until it’s lightly browned. Then, use a spatula to gently flip it over and cook the other side. Repeat this process until you’ve used all your batter.
Finally, the best part – filling and enjoying your crêpes! Add your chosen toppings, roll them up, and tuck in. Delicious!

Gluten-Free Crêpes Tips
Here are some tips to help you make the most out of my gluten-free crêpe recipe
Use the Right Flour
Choose a high-quality gluten-free flour blend that contains xanthan gum. Brands like King Arthur Flour or Bob’s Red Mill are excellent choices. If your flour doesn’t have xanthan gum, add a bit extra to help with texture.
Chill the Batter
Refrigerate the batter for at least an hour or overnight. This helps prevent the crepes from tearing during cooking and ensures they are smooth and even.
Blend the Batter Smoothly
Use a blender to mix the batter until it’s smooth and free of lumps. This is especially important for gluten-free flours, which can be more prone to clumping.
Cook with the Right Pan
Use a non-stick pan or a crepe pan to prevent sticking. Heat the pan over medium heat and lightly butter it before adding the batter.
Tilt and Rotate
Pour the batter into the pan and immediately tilt and rotate it to spread the batter evenly. This helps create a thin, round crepe.
Don’t Overcook
Cook the crepe for about 30-45 seconds on the first side until it’s lightly browned, then flip it over and cook for another 15-30 seconds. Overcooking can make the crepe brittle.
Experiment with Fillings
Gluten-free crepes are versatile and can be filled with sweet or savory ingredients. Try using Nutella, fruit, or ham and cheese for delicious options.

Can I make gluten-free crepes in advance?
