Gluten Free Apple Crumble recipe

Are you ready to try my gluten free Apple Crumble? Then let’s get started:

Ingredients – What do you need?

  • 2 Large cooking apples
  • 200g (7 oz) Gluten free self-raising flour
  • 50g (20z) butter
  • 100g (3.5 oz) brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • small handful of flaked almonds and a tablespoon of desiccated coconut

Instructions – What do you do?

  • Preheat the oven to 200c (gas 6)
  • Peel and chop the apples. Put them in a saucepan with a little water and cook until soft.
  • Place the cooked apple into an oven-proof dish.
  • Rub the butter into the flour until like breadcrumbs.
  • Stir in the sugar and cinnamon.
  • Place the crumble mix over the top of the cooked apples.
  • Crumble over the flaked almonds and coconut.
  • Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the crumble topping is golden brown.
  • Serve with custard.
